Directions to trailhead:Take Manoa Avenue into Manoa Valley, past the end, towards Lyons Arboretum. Park nearby and continue across small foot bridge to Manoa Falls trail head. Just before the end of the Manoa Falls Trail (about 50 feet before the pool, the Aihualama Trail veers to the left over some rocks.

Hike description:The trail switchbacks up the side of Manoa Valley from the end of the Manoa Falls trail.The trail goes through varied vegetation ending in a bamboo grove just before Pauoa Flats. Take the right trail to the Nuanu Valley overlook for good views.
