Description: Having nothing to do on a spring break and as I wanted to show my brother an aerial view of Waimanalo, we decided to climb Hawaii Loa last year. Unfortunately, clouds obstructed the views on the top, but on the steep way down from the summit, we had incredible views.
This is one of my favorite hiking pictures, as it shows everything what hiking here is all about: great views, native plants, solitude (and breathtaking climbs).
